Russian Manicure
$45Dry, e-file cuticle work with a flawless clean edge and long-wear polish of your choice.
The dry, e-file technique that gives you an impossibly clean cuticle line and 3–4 weeks of wear. $45 on Court St in Cobble Hill — first visit 10% off. Open daily 10am–8pm.

A standard manicure softens the skin in water and trims the cuticle with nippers. A Russian manicure is done completely dry: your technician uses a precision e-file with fine bits to lift and remove only the dead cuticle tissue sitting on the nail plate, exposing a few extra millimetres of natural nail.
That extra surface is why the result looks so clean and why polish holds. Color is applied right up to the nail fold instead of stopping short, so there's no visible growth gap for the first couple of weeks — most guests stretch to three or four weeks between appointments.

A Russian manicure is a dry manicure technique that uses a precision e-file instead of soaking and clipping. The cuticle area is cleaned right up to the nail fold, so polish sits closer to the skin, looks cleaner, and lasts noticeably longer.
A Russian manicure is $45 at Cobble Hill Nail Spa on Court St. Adding gel color or pairing it with a classic pedicure ($35) is the most common way our guests book it. New guests get 10% off their first visit.
Most guests get 3–4 weeks from a Russian manicure with gel, compared to about 2 weeks from a standard gel manicure, because the cuticle work lets the product seal fully against the nail plate.
Yes, when performed by a trained technician with sanitized equipment. We use fresh, disposable bits and files for every guest, work dry to avoid softening the skin, and never cut living tissue.
Plan for about 60 minutes for a Russian manicure, or 90 minutes if you add a pedicure. Booking online reserves your technician and your color in advance.
